Starting a travel agency in the United States welcomes everyone who has capable in running such business. There are eleven states in the US that require registration, but it is not more complicated than filling out a form and paying a fee annually. But it doesn’t guarantee us professionalism or good service, and usually it doesn’t guarantee the safety of payments you make to the agency either.
Airlines require travel agencies to meet minimum standards before they will allow them to issue airline tickets, but due to the fact that standards are easily met, earning tickets are no longer essential to agencies.
Agencies would have to pass several accreditations from the airlines and tourism and travel department of the country.
